On Monday, my coordinator at the fertility clinic messaged me the my CMV test results were finally low enough to proceed. This was my 3rd time testing so I was beginning to feel like we may never get the ok to move forward. She was just waiting on a fax from my doctor's office and then we could be officially cleared. Woo-Hoo!
Fast forward a day... I knew my Dr had sent the fax and I hadn't heard back from my coordinator and I was a little worried because I knew I was due to start my next cycle any day.
Woke up Wednesday and still hadn't heard back from my coordinator. An hour or so later I started my cycle and so I tried calling my coordinator to see if we were any closer to being officially cleared. The nurse informed me she had called out the last 2 days sick. Ahhhh! Just my luck. They transferred me to another coordinator who I left a message with and was dying waiting to hear back. In the meantime the guys contacted the office as well and the doctor put someone on our case to get it straightened out asap. Within hours we had all of our paperwork finalized and we were OFFICIAL! It is crucial to start your meds on the second day of your cycle so we needed this done quickly and meds sent out. Last night I received a call from the pharmacy confirming my address and they told me meds would be here today!
Today is my 2nd day of my cycle and about an hour ago my meds were delivered to my home. I have my cycle calendar and everything ready to go. Meds start tonight :)
What a whirlwind this week has been! I can not begin to explain my excitement right now to be moving forward and to be at this next step in the journey with the guys. We are all just over the moon! I will be sure to update tomorrow with how my first injection goes tonight :/
